All learners are different. For that reason we have developed strategies to assist learners of various different backgrounds, strengths & challeges that will motivate learhers to reach their goals. We pride ourselves in helping students develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relations, teamwork, team leadership and lifelong learning skills, which are all highly valued by employers.
ONE ON ONE SESSIONS
Some learners find it difficult understanding at the pace of group or class lessons. We use one on one sessions to provide the learner with the undivided attention of the teacher. This means more opportunity to engage in real communication, more feedback and better understanding of the learner’s needs.
The learner often has more control over the aims of the class, the pace and the materials and has more opportunities to use the teacher as a resource. The teacher has a greater opportunity to engage in real interaction and to learn the needs of the learner.
SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Learning in small-groups enhances students' overall learning experiences. It addresses gaps in students' knowledge, allows students to discover and engage with a range of perspectives, ideas and backgrounds and with each other, assists students in clarifying their attitudes to and ideas about the subject matter, as they test their own ideas and attitudes against those of others. It also helps students develop a sense of academic rigour and a willingness to share ideas as well as provides opportunities for students to receive feedback on their learning.
Group activities and projects to introduce students to collaborative
teamwork, which is an essential skill employers are looking for in entering the workforce. It encourages learners to expand their skills by allocating tasks based on expertise. One leaner may take on creative
tasks, while another gets involved more in the research and compilation. It sometimes may encourage learners to take on tasks outside of their comfort zone to learn new things.
As world and it's demands keep on evolving, we have unrolled a project to teach and provide computers as well as their peripherals in a learning evironment. This step will help learners in gaining and developning the necessary skills to compete in the workforce. Also it will encourage actual learning because learners like it better than paper and pen, multimedia will address all learning styles and provide interactive, learner centered activities. Learners can also access extra support and help resources easily.
